New Press Ordered


Hamilton will take deliver of a new wide web print press from UK converting specialists ABG next month.

The decision was made to purchase our fourth Omega from this supplier. This will bring the total number of converting machines operated by Hamilton to 10 presses.

The new high speed press will bring additional capacity to our manufactruing capability, maximising in house flexibility and quicker response to customer deadlines.

New Appointments

Sales and customer service

Several new additions to the Hamilton team have recently been appointed.

Sabrina Meadows joined the sales department in mid 2009. With her extensive sales experience she will assist the sales team to generated new business for the company. Sarah Casaletto has recently been recruited. She will initially be supporting Greg Baldwin and Denise Wyllie processing repeat orders and dealing with customer enquiries.

Manufacturing

A recruitment programme is being undertaken by General Manager Phil Timms to employ a further 4 additional production staff.

Annual BRC audit was successfully completed

Hamilton's annual BRC audit was successfully completed on the 9th September 2009.

We have now completed three sucessive audits without any non conformances.

This demonstrates our committment to continued investment in our comprehensive quality and hygene management systems.

Moved to brand new 25,000 sq ft facility providing one of the UK's most modern streamlined production units.

Hamilton Adhesive Labels purchase brand new manufacturing unit in Bardon Leicestershire. Planned move date June 07

Installed 'Label Traxx' management information software. Unlike many MIS systems, Label Traxx has been developed solely for self adhesive labels. Hamilton Adhesive Labels are the first company in Europe to install Label Traxx. Modules include Estimating, Job Creation, Stock Control though to e-Business.
